A global comparison of bicycle sharing systems

Increasing urban populations have created pressures on the transportation networks that serve them. Bicycle sharing systems (BSS) seen a dramatic increase in popularity as cities around world begin to implement and see significant use benefit from this growing mode of micro-mobility. As result, research surrounding bicycle has also increased, although been primarily focused analysis individual systems. There is therefore need for global comparison systems, particularly given prior often omits China, which currently largest BSS market world.
